There are various programs for Canadian immigration, but it’s important to identify the most suitable program based on the applicant’s qualification. Here is a list of popular programs that Gateway Visa Solution offers to applicants.
Express Entry
Express Entry is an electronic process used by the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to manage applications for permanent residence. It was first introduced in 2015 and has now become the main driver of skilled worker immigration to Canada and one of the most popular immigration systems globally. The first step is to assess the qualification of the applicant in terms of age, job experience, education, language proficiency, and adaptability. Once eligible to apply, we will then submit an Expression of Interest (EOI), often referred to as a profile, to the Express Entry system. Once the profile is submitted, a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score will automatically be assigned. Approximately every two weeks, the Canadian government conducts a draw where they issue invitations to apply (ITAs) for Canadian permanent residence to the highest-ranking profiles in the pool of Express Entry candidates.
Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
Immigrants who have the skills, education and work experience that may contribute to the economy of a certain province or territory may be nominated through the Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs). Each Canadian province, except Quebec, has their own streams (immigration programs that target certain groups) and criteria in selecting the nominees. Once nominated, additional points will be added to the candidate’s CRS score and will potentially increase the chance of receiving an invitation to apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence.
Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)
The Atlantic Immigration Program is a fast-track immigration program that allows employers in Canada's four Atlantic provinces — Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island — to hire foreign nationals for jobs they haven't been able to fill locally. This program doesn’t provide CRS points and the qualifications are more lenient. It has the lowest requirements for IELTS (CLB-4), accept even undergraduates, and doesn't have an age limit. The proof of funds is also much lower compared to other programs. It is employer driven and would require a job offer from one of the designated employers of the participating provinces.
Australia
Another top pick for aspiring immigrants is Australia. Australia is an exceptional country to settle down. Ranked by the United Nations as the second-best country in the world for its quality of life in 2015, Australia unceasingly attracts international skilled workers from all over the world.
